BDS Loses Its Crowdfunding Account Over Ties To Terror Organizations

Donorbox has shut down BNC's account for having ties to registered terror groups

The Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC) had its Donorbox account frozen last week due to its affiliation with terror organizations.

Following an investigation by Tablet and another by the Ministry of Strategic Affairs revealing the direct ties between the BDS Movement and US-recognized terror organizations, the crowdfunding platform “Donorbox” has been forced to pull the plug on the hate movement.

Of the closure, Minister Gilad Erdan said, “This is a significant achievement in the struggle against the Palestinian boycott organizations that in reality, are driving all the BDS organizations of the world,”

According to Shurat HaDin president Adv. Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, “We have no intention to allow terrorist organizations and their accomplices to raise money online without interference. Fundraising is oxygen to terrorists; we will use every legal way possible to choke off every platform they use to raise funds, We hope that our successful action against Donorbox will send a clear warning to all online fundraising platforms on the Internet and will ensure that these funds are not used to finance terrorism.”

The BDS Movement said in a Facebook post that they “are not deterred” and have opened a new donation platform for their antisemitic and racist activities that directly benefit terrorism.

Donorbox stated in a tweet, “Regarding BDS: they list a security council (PINF) as a member on their website. This council is composed of a few organizations that the US govt does not allow us to do business with.”
